Our men’s group is a welcoming and relaxed space where you can play games and make new friends. Whether you prefer to play ping pong or pool, chess or boxing, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Alongside the games, you can have a friendly conversation over refreshments with other members of the group, and you can speak to our staff if you would like any advice or support – they will be very happy to help.
Stefan Schlag, UASC Caseworker with the Integrate Coventry project, said:
“The group is a great chance for people living in Coventry to socialise, make new friends and practice their English. The sessions are informal, and people can drop in and out, so it is a relaxed and welcoming environment.”
The group is aimed at people with refugee status and other third country nationals, although all are welcome. We meet every two weeks (on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month) from 4-6pm. The venue is the Joining Communities Together (JCT) Centre (formerly known as the Jesus Centre) at 7 Lamb St, Coventry CV1 4AE.
